Today, adidas Golf announced the signing of Linn Grant to a multi-year deal that will see him wear adidas headwear, apparel, footwear and accessories on the course.

The granddaughter of a Scottish golf professional and daughter of a seven-time Swedish Senior Tour winner, Sweden’s Linn Grant was surrounded by golf from an early age. This culminated in an amateur career full of accolades, as she went on to represent Sweden in 2016 and 2017 at the European Women’s Team Championship, where the team finished second and first respectively.

As an amateur, Grant staged a remarkable 2017 season which included victories at both the Scottish Women’s Open Championship and the British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship at North Berwick Golf Club, the same venue where her grandfather won the Scottish Boys Championship 49 years earlier. She was also named in Sweden’s record-breaking women’s team that won the European Women’s Tag Team Championship three years in a row from 2018 to 2020.

Prior to turning pro, Grant played on the adidas-sponsored Arizona State University women’s golf team, where she won four individual titles between the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

“Having worn adidas during my time at Arizona State, I’m extremely excited to join the 3-Stripe family as a professional,” Grant said. “I’m proud to join such a great roster of great players and look forward to wearing the amazing product that adidas has to offer.”

After turning professional in August 2021, Grant achieved two successive second places on the Ladies European Tour, before claiming her first victory in October at the Terre Blanche Ladies Open in France on the Ladies European Tour Access Series. She also earned her LPGA Tour card in December last year through the Tour’s Q-series program.

“We are truly delighted to have Linn join the adidas family and are not surprised that she has had such a rapid start to her professional career,” said Matt Blackey, Senior Director of Sports Marketing at adidas Golf. “She’s an incredible athlete and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to develop her career as a professional.”

Grant starts 2022 in South Africa, including two Ladies European Tour events in March – Joburg Ladies Open and Investec South African Women’s Open.
