Cashrewards Hires Westpac Marketing Specialist As New Marketing Director

Cashrewards has recruited former Westpac marketer, Nicole Bardsley, as the new Marketing Director in a growing marketing team at the e-commerce offerings provider.

Bardsley is currently Westpac’s brand and advertising manager and has worked for the banking giant since 2017. Prior to that, she held various marketing and branding roles at Virgin Money, Foxtel, Austin Reed Group, Allders and David Jones.

In a statement, Cashrewards highlighted Bardsley’s wealth of marketing expertise spanning brand, digital, customer relationship management and direct response as the primary reasons for the appointment and the essential skills to drive growth plans. continuous.

Australia’s e-commerce ecosystem enables its 1.1 million members to receive cash back rewards on online or in-store transactions. Cashrewards has 1,800 merchant partners, including Apple, Liquorland, Target, Adidas and Booking.com, and claims to have generated $ 2.7 billion in sales for these players since its inception.

Bardsley officially begins January 10, 2022 and has said she is thrilled to be joining the Cashrewards team at an exciting time.

Alongside Bardsley, Cashrewards hired a number of marketers in 2021. These include former Westpac, M&C Saatchi and DDB brand and creative director Matthew Poulier, who heads the brand in June ; and the former Afterpay B2B Marketing Director, Sally Marsden, to lead B2B Marketing in March. The team also includes former growth marketing leader at Pickles Auctions and Audi, Karlien McLeod, who joined the group as head of customer marketing in September last year.

Cashrewards also recently launched a seasonal marketing campaign as well as a new ‘Happy Dayz’ campaign, which was created by its in-house creative team.
