Adidas and Pharrell Williams have once again come together to establish and encourage a sense of playfulness and minimalism with their Humanrace Premium Basics collection. The collaboration’s gender-neutral clothing line presents an attractive range of comfortable clothing.

Earlier this year, the duo wowed their fans with the reissue of their coveted HU NMD Running Dog sneakers. Originally released in December 2021, the pair was restocked in February this year to honor their high demand.

The longtime collaborators first came together in 2014 and reinvented some timeless Adidas Original styles, including Adidas Superstar, Adidas Stan Smith and the classic track jacket.

The Adidas x Pharrell Williams Humanrace Premium Basics collection offers ideal summer outfits

The collaboration’s effortless essentials come in seven different shades: black, bold gold, misty emerald, brown, golden beige, heather light gray and off-white.

The practical collection includes hoodies, sweatpants, basic shorts, plain t-shirts and crew neck sweaters. The complete Humanrace collection is made from 100% organic French terry cotton. As mentioned by Adidas, it will support the Better Cotton initiative through its latest launch, which is co-designed by Williams.

The cheapest item among the basic silhouettes is a basic t-shirt which retails for just $50, followed by basic shorts which are marked at $80. Sweatshirts and hoodies in neutral tones are priced at $110 and $130, respectively. Finally, the easy-to-fit pants are $100.

Utility basics are outfitted with kangaroo pockets and detailed with ribbed cuffs and hems. All everyday pieces feature prominent Humanrace branding. Embroidered Adidas Trefoil logos can be seen on the sleeves of the hoodies.

The most remarkable part of the collection is that it is made with a wide range of sizes ranging from 3XS to 2XL. The collection’s sizing is based on the sportswear brand’s genderless Unite Fit system.

Anyone looking for everyday clothing with a loose fit can discover the Humanrace Premium Basics collection via the Adidas e-commerce site. The collection has been available for purchase since April 7.
